The Fondaco di Tedeschi is actually a shopping mall, but it offers visitors to climb to its highest point and have a splendid view of the Grand Canal. Near the Rialto Bridge, it often goes unnoticed, as not everyone knows that it is possible to climb to the top, so put it on the short list! It is worth the visit!

The visit is free , however it is necessary to make a reservation in advance and follow some rules: each visit can last a maximum of 15 minutes and the maximum capacity of the terrace is 40 people. If you do not want to book online, you can book it on arrival via the QR code on the fourth floor – but it is subject to availability. In case of bad weather and for security reasons, the administration reserves itself the right to NOT AUTHORIZE access to the terrace without prior notice. Open every day from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. The Church of San Giorgio Maggiore is on an island right in front of St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace.
