Today it is the center of Italian political and cultural life, but it is the testimonies of the extraordinary richness of its artistic, historical and cultural heritage, of magnificent works, especially during the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, that have made Rome, throughout the times, one of the most popular tourist destinations for people from all over the world.
