What to visit in Murano? Murano is the birthplace of beautiful, expensive crystals that fill our eyes! Murano is actually an archipelago with seven small islands. With its 5,500 inhabitants, Murano was founded by Romans in the 6th century. A must-see there, in addition to the various crystal shops, is: Church of Saint Mary and Saint Donatus, Church of Saint Peter Martyr and Mula Palace.
