1) Visiting the Dolomites? MOENA

Moena, for example, is one of those places, in the middle of the Dolomites. It is an important tourist destination in summer and winter, thanks to modern facilities that can satisfy even international tourists. Moena is dominated by the Gothic church of Saint Vigilius, from the bell tower and tower of the ancient church of St. Wolfgang, dating from 1000 A.D.

1) How to get around the Dolomites? BUS

Trentino Alto Adige

For internal trips, there is a great bus line that leaves mainly from Trento. You can take the Trentino Trasporti Esercizio Spa bus at Alto Adige or the Sad bus company in Bolzano. There are also private transport companies that offer trips in comfortable taxis, mini-buses and buses with vehicles equipped with every comfort; transfers to and from train stations, airports, hotels in Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme and the Dolomites; shuttle and ski; driver and rental of buses and minibuses.

Belluno

The bus company Dolomitibus is the company that works throughout the area, connecting large urban centers with ski resorts during the winter. The terminals are Feltre and Belluno. There are also taxis and buses that take you to Cortina and other cities in Alto Belluno.

Friuli

The Friulian Dolomites area can be reached via a daily service line that covers Trieste, Udine, Tolmezzo, Forni di Sopra, Auronzo-Calalzo, Pieve di Cadore, or by bus departing from Pordenone.

Belluno

The most important stations are Feltre, Belluno and Calalzo, where there are taxis and buses that take you to Cortina and other cities in Alto Belluno.

Friuli

From Carnia, Pordenone, Sacile, Udine and Calalzo di Cadore stations you can take comfortable buses that run throughout the area.

3) How to get around the Dolomites? AIRPORTS

Trentino Alto Adige: the nearest airports are Marco Polo, 250 km away, and Linate and Malpensa, in Milan, 280 km away.
Belluno: although Belluno is equipped with a small airport, the largest airport would be Marco Polo, in Venice, 101 km away.
Friuli: The nearest airports are Ronchi dei Legionari in Trieste and Marco Polo, in Venice.
