A little about the Emilia Romagna Region
Emilia Romagna marks the border between northern and central Italy. It is one of the richest areas in Italy with historic cities, fertile agricultural land, thriving industry, and a modern and efficient service system for the citizen. The variety of natural environments and the historical and artistic heritage of the cities of this region determine a great variety of types of tourism. Its tourist vocation as a seaside resort dates back to the mid-19th century.
Naturalistic tourism can be practiced thanks to a system of protected areas. The flow of cultural tourism is fed by the capital Bologna, Byzantine Ravenna, Romanesque Modena, Ferrara, and Renaissance Parma. In addition, the region offers the opportunity to enjoy different enogastronomic itineraries, able to enjoy the full flavor of delicious Italian and regional cuisine, not forgetting to mention that in Emilia we find the Ferrari Museum and Factory where you can take a test drive: for the people who like an adventure.
