Lia Oliveira a Brazilian photographer in Italy, based in Milan works not only with Brazilians, but with everyone who wants a unique memory of their trip. Photographing and living in Milan, she gets to know the city in its most notable monuments, but also unique and distinct alleys that can bring the charm of an Italian countryside in the middle of the big city. Passionate about wandering around, she also travel to other Italian cities, such as Rome, Verona, Venice and Florence (and any other charming little town like Siena, Turin, Como or Sirmione. Besides lakes and mountains). In her 4 years in Italy, she is gradually expanding to the whole of Europe, enabling her clients to have a photoshoot in the big capitals such as Paris, London, Lisbon, Zurich etc. Creating, in the travel memories of your customers, a visual unity and a strong connection with those photographed.
A little bit of Lia’s story
Lia has lived in Italy in 2016 and has been working with family photography since 2013. She, who has her initial career in Advertising, joined professional photography in 2011. “Photography has always been very strong in my life.”
“I noticed that people are more careful with their memories and want to remember, with quality, of the moments lived” says Lia “I want to tell your stories! Express your feelings in images that will inspire each time you access them . My propose is to create an emotional photograph, a true portrait of life “
She says that the demand for photoshoots in Milan has grown and that, little by little, travelers are beginning to see that the city has a lot to offer. Lia believes that social media has a strong role in this increase “The search on instagram is very strong among Brazilians and young european, that’s why I dedicate myself to showing a Milan that it is not on traditional routes. In addition to the notable monuments, I take my clients through alleys that only locals know. ”
The most popular package is 1h30 in Milan, where she walks and visit 2-3 tourist spots and some charming streets. Always starting with the Duomo -a total “must have”. She sends a preview on the same day, as she knows that the clients like to share the experience of the trip with friends and family. The rest of the work is delivered in up to 5 days through an online gallery dedicated to photographers and the images are in high resolution, treated and edited. On average, a 1h30 photoshoot clients get around 60 images.
Another package is her 3-hour shooting and wandering around the city. Most suitable for large groups and those who want to explore the entire historic center and already guarantee great photos. This shooting usually generates 150 images on average. The places that are usually photographed are Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Brera and Castello Sforzesco (in the smallest package). In other cities, she always suggest starting at the main point and going through unique streets and other points of interest (such as Piazza del Campo in Siena-Tuscany, the Eiffel Tower itself in Paris and the Buckingham Palace in London).
She likes to shoot early in the morning where the first light gives a special charm and the cities are usually more empty (but make no mistake: if you want a photoshoot in the late afternoon or even at night, she has special places where you can have will take wonderful pictures!)
The climatic conditions
In fact, the photographer is used to the climatic conditions of the city and will organize the shoot thinking about it. With transparent umbrellas and unique places where you can have a warm coffee and still have wonderful images.
Milan is still not a mainstream city regard to tourism, so a photoshoot in this city brings a touch of exclusivity, in addition to all the glamor associated with Milan, which is one of the fashion capitals of the world.
