One of the most beautiful cities in the world can also surprise us with its accommodation options and today I present you an excellent option for your sacred rest, in the heart of fantastic Venice. Come with me! Here at Your Travel to Italy with Ana Patricia you make the trip of your dreams !!! ALSO: see our “Accommodation in Italy – Tips for your holidays!”.
Our Introduction
Venice, capital of the Veneto region, is a city that deserves to be visited at least once in a lifetime! Historic, cultural and full of breathtaking panoramas, Venice is one of the most sought after cities by tourists around the world.
However, Venice is not a big city and therefore does not offer as many accommodation options as, for example, Rome. But knowing how to choose where to stay in Venice and making your reservation in advance: believe me, you will have a fantastic experience!
Important:
- We know how difficult it is to choose a hotel when we travel, especially if we are going to a certain place for the first time and we don’t know anything about the area. That’s why I always suggest that, before booking a hotel, you do a little research on the chosen area. Using Google Maps you can check the location of the desired hotel, if there are shops, bars, restaurants and public transport options close by.
- Research is the key to success when choosing your ideal hotel! Do a lot of research on the location of your accommodation, check the schedules, the schedules of nearby places, buses, trains and subways; Don’t be seduced by very low prices or hotels that are too far away, remember that what you save with a hotel, you will probably spend with transport, especially if you are far away from bus stops, train stations and/or subways. In other words, get organized!
- Choosing the perfect hotel can be even easier if you get referrals from people who have already been to the city you want to go to and can give you more details about the hotel and its services, as well as the region.
Gold tip:
- Book the hotel in advance! If you want to find even more affordable prices, consider traveling outside of high season, as it is the time when cities are quieter and, generally, without the large tourist mass present there between June and August!
Venice accommodation experience: all about Ca’ della Scimmia.
Choosing a hotel in Venice, I confess, is not that difficult and, as always, I suggest you choose a hotel that is as close as possible to the central points of the city. The great asset of Venice is that the city can be explored entirely walking, and the more central your hotel, the easier it is to access the most important tourist attractions.
Ca’ della Scimmia is a private house with eight apartments that can be rented together or separately.
The location boasts a privileged position in the historic center of Venice, and is just 180 meters from the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal.
Complete with air conditioning, the apartments are equipped with a TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer.
To give you an idea of its incredible location: the apartments are just a few minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants, as well as being just 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco.
To get there you can use the vaporetto and get off at the Rialto Mercato stop. The address of the apartments is Calle della Scimmia 229/A – San Polo, in other words: VERY CENTRAL!
Check out some photos of Ca’ della Scimmia and be enchanted!
The place has options for all tastes and budgets!
You can stay, for example, in the incredible De Luxe Apartment, which is one of the most sought, and is located on the top floor. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, as well as offering us a beautiful view of the city! The place can accommodate up to 4 people and offers all the facilities you might need.
If you prefer something simpler, you can choose from 7 other accommodation options, remembering that all apartments offer Wi-Fi, heating, air conditioning, private bathrooms and small fully equipped kitchens. There are apartments suitable for 2 to 6 people, that is: you can travel with the whole family, friends and in a group!

The apartments offer accommodation solutions for all needs and are as follows: Classic, with 50 square meters; Comfort, with 55 square meters; Superior, with 70 square meters; Loft, with 35 square meters and De Luxe, with 80 square meters.
The person responsible for the space is Andrea Lopes, a Brazilian in love with Venice who lives in Italy for over 20 years! In addition to being kind, she is sweet and nice and she will make you fall in love!
The details of decoration, cleaning and care are impressive and are, in fact, surprising!
What do you love most?
The feeling of being at home, of feeling local! It’s not just accommodation; it’s really an experience in Venice!
The place, due to its spectacular position, is very popular and therefore I suggest you make your reservation in advance!
