It is an unmissable destination for those in Rome, and is one of the most visited monuments in the eternal city. In 2019, the Colosseum changed its visit policy and it is now mandatory to schedule time with the Roma Pass as well. Remember that there is a fee of 2 euros for online reservations with the Roma Pass, and it is possible to make the reservation without having yours in hand, but on the day of the visit, along with the reservation number, it will be necessary to present the card, OK ?! Well, first of all, I advise you to CLICK HERE! Because it goes directly to the website of the Official Coliseum box office website. The initial screen will be the image below (of course, changes may occur over the years).

Just choose and go to Acquista ora (at the beginning of the screen). Here, pay close attention, as this is when you will choose the day and time of the visit. To avoid wasting too much time, click on “solo disponibile” (only available) and it will show you available days and times. If nothing appears, it is because there is no availability and you will need to choose another day.

We will choose the 20th of June, at 08.50 am, the following screen will open. IMPORTANT: the number that appears next to the schedule is the number of people admitted for that schedule! If you choose to buy the Roma Pass on the Colosseum ticket website, it must be picked up at Palazzo Merulana, which is located on Via Merulana 121. Open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, from Wednesday to Sunday. You can also make a reservation by phone: 06 39 967 575.
In the act of withdrawing the ticket, simply present the reservation online with the number sent by them clearly visible, it can even be on the cell phone. If you prefer, print the e-mail received and present it to the attendant.
