Cooking Courses in Venice

Venice is spectacular! Yes, I know it’s redundant to say that, but it never hurts to emphasize, does it? After all: Venice is Venice! Famous for its canals, gondolas, the beautiful Piazza San Marco, its colorful carnival and its traditional masks, Venice also offers us less sought after attractions – perhaps not even known! – such as short cooking courses, which can be completed in just a few hours. It is a different, interesting and very “tasty” tour. Today we are going to find out which cooking courses in Venice you can take.  Here at Your Travel to Italy with Ana Patricia you make the trip of your dreams!!! ALSO: see our “Accommodation in Italy – Tips for your holidays!”

Our introduction

Italian cuisine is one of the most famous in the world! Italians LOVE gastronomy and, although it is a fusion gastronomy due to the different peoples that have passed through the lands of the peninsula, they value their typical dishes, the way they are prepared and the quality of their ingredients. If we had to choose just one word to describe Italian cuisine, I’m sure that word would be: PERFECT! Find out here: Where to take a Cooking Course in Rome, Florence, Milan and Naples.

Italy offers us a very democratic gastronomy, as it offers options for all tastes; essentially practical, as many dishes are very simple to make; and a lot of flavor of “I want more!”. No wonder Italian cuisine is one of the most reproduced in the entire planet, and this is due to its unique flavors! Also read: What are the best cookery schools in Italy?

Why take a cooking course in Venice?

I could simply say that it is to “do a different program!”, but my answer goes further: you should consider taking a cooking course in Venice because you will be able to understand the intimate relationship between ingredients, passion and taste! Is it a unique experience? Yes, but it is also an experience for life! The love with which the Italians talk about food, the affection they have when cooking, when choosing the best raw materials, when they cook with a smile on their face: be sure that this will enchant you, it will touch your heart.

When you choose to take a cooking course in Venice, you are choosing more: you are choosing to live an experience that will fill your heart (and palate!) with allergy, with poetry… with magic!

What courses can I take?

Well, there is no shortage of options and your biggest difficulty will be choosing one of them to do (already remembering that they are all irresistible!). The list of available courses is very wide and offers options for all tastes – and pockets, that is: there is no way to stay out!

Of course, some courses are more popular than others and therefore sell out quickly. Among the most sought after by tourists are pasta courses (both fresh pasta and pizza dough) and drinks courses; prices vary according to the chosen course, as well as their duration – normally they only last a few hours and, after class, there is a get-together, where everyone tastes their masterpieces! And that’s one of the best parts!

Another immense advantage of taking this type of course is that everything is already included in the package: the ingredients, the utensils and, of course, the technical guidance.

It is worth it?

YES! Especially if you want to get to know Italian cuisine in more depth: IT’S VERY WORTH IT! Besides being something different to do on a rainy day, for example! Besides being a lot of fun, knowledge is never too much, right?!
