It is a sure destination for the tourist crowd, especially in the summer, so it is not difficult to find crowded cities! However, there are other tour options for those who prefer something more peaceful. To start, we can search for the secrets of the gastronomic tradition of the Cinque Terre and take a cooking class with natives. With a cinematic landscape, there is a small place in Nessundorma (Manarola) built on the boardwalk, where you can learn to make traditional pesto with all the most typical ingredients of Liguria: basil, pine nuts and extra virgin olive oil; without leaving aside the Parmigiano! There the process is complete: it begins with the cultivation of olives from the Ligurian Riviera on the ancient terraces that surround it and ends with a delicious tasting. After walking through the olive groves, we will start tasting: with your glass in hand, you will learn all the official techniques for tasting oils and olive oils used by DOP oil tasting commissions.
