Well, I am a member of the Associazione Italiana Travel Blogger which is an association – that I am very proud of! – that brings together the biggest influencers of travel blogs from all over Italy. The association holds, annually, a meeting full of fun and information, in order to integrate the members, so that we can share tips, experiences, and socialize in a very pleasant way. My experience in Casole D’Elsa

As we had several activities during our meeting, I didn’t have much time to visit the village, however, I was able to visit some main points and see the top of the city in a very rewarding way, because the city is, in fact, a pleasant surprise. It is impossible not to mention the pure air that the city offers us: something unique and very special!

Golden Tip:

Casole has several agriturismi (farm hotels)along its roads and, several of them, offer the visitor several options for tastings of wines and cheeses. Terre de Casole: a very special hotel in Casole

First of all I would like to thank the Casole tourism advisor, Daniele, who received me in a very affectionate way and with incredible hospitality!

And finally, let’s talk about this charming hotel, Terre di Casole.

This hotel has been in existence for over 40 years and is one of the most sought after in the city. Once there, it’s easy to understand the reason why! The hotel is a delight, it offers us an indescribable peace and its accommodations are impeccable!

Before becoming a hotel, the place was a country house for a family that loved to gather friends and family for parties, lunches and dinners. The feeling of “I know this place!” is indisputable because we really feel at home!

In addition to several facilities and wonderful views, especially during sunset, the hotel is perfect for all types of public: families, groups of friends, couples, solo travelers.

The accommodations

Accommodations are worth mentioning: there are several room options at Terre di Casole. You can opt for the Garden Suites, which offer direct access to the hotel’s garden, and are perfect for those who love “the feet on the grass!”. It’s a bedroom delight. The suite offers sun loungers and is perfect for those who love to relax looking at the sky! A dreamy place!

Another good option is the Terrace De Luxe suites. These suites are ideal for those looking for a magnificent view, but with a little more privacy. They are located on the first floor and offer us a breathtaking view!

For those who prefer, there is another very good option: the Classic Suites, which also have a view of the garden. They are a little more spacious and for that reason are perfect for those traveling with more than two people, especially with children.

And if you’re traveling alone, you can opt for the delightful Singole suite. Despite being a little smaller than the other suites already mentioned, for obvious reasons, it leaves nothing to be desired for those looking for comfort and convenience.

All suites offer free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. Ah: the hotel has its own parking and is free for guests.

My experience at Terre di Casole

Perfect! If I had to choose just one word to describe my experience, it would definitely be the word: PERFECT! I stayed in one of the Terrace De Luxe suites, and the room is very spacious, very clean, the bathroom is large, and I was very well accommodated.

The employees are really sweet! They are super available, friendly, and the service is incredible; the impression that we are talking to friends we’ve known for a long time, it’s a delightful! The outside of the hotel also enchanted me: the hotel is surrounded by greenery and, depending on where we are, we have beautiful views of different points of the Tuscan hills.

My final opinion? It is VERY worth staying in Terre di Casole, really!

For those who want, at the time of booking, you can request the transfer from the airport to the hotel (additional payment!) – and vice versa! A little about Casole D’Elsa

Casole d’Elsa is not a famous city, much less touristy, but it is charming and seems to have come out of a fairy tale book. I confess that I didn’t know Casole, but as soon as I got there: I fell madly in love! Casole has about 3,890 inhabitants, is surrounded by nature, and offers us magnificent landscapes.

Casole d’Elsa is an ancient Etruscan town and is located behind a hill that offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Sienese countryside. Casole, between the 11th and 12th centuries, was the fief of the Bishops of Volterra, and in 1260 it passed to the Sieneses. Because it is in a strategic position, the city built several fortifications and some of them are still visible there: there are two very beautiful towers that draw our attention.

It’s no wonder that Casole’s main attraction is its walls, which you can easily observe in their entire splendor when looking around. The towers are from the end of the 15th century and take us back to ancient times in a discreet and elegant way.

Tip:

For those who LOVE panoramic views, be sure to visit Rocca, which is a 14th century fortress; It is currently the seat of the City Council
