1) Discovering the Abruzzo Region! TOURISM
It is a region where seaside tourism predominates with the following locations: Giuliano, Roseto, Montesilvano Marina and Vasto. In relation to naturalistic tourism (bi-seasonal) it offers “SNOW” tourism fans a wide range of ski resorts, the main ones being: Pesco Costanzo, Pescassero, Rocca raso and Campo Imperatore.
They have a substantial historical and artistic heritage, with important pre-Roman archaeological areas, Romanesque churches, castles and art centers such as Chieti and L’Aquila.
2) Discovering the Abruzzo Region! THE TOWNS
The past comes to life in small towns, rich in history and architectural features. A past told in the large number of stone villages, spread among the mountains. Houses close together in a “defensive embrace” of local populations against the dangers of past times.
3) Discovering the Abruzzo Region! THE CHURCHES AND MONASTERIES
A region where churches and monasteries are located on the edge of centuries-old forests, in fields that have yet to be sown, in the deep silence of vast plains and green pastures, and on hills overlooking the sea. Indeed, the hand of man has produced a fantastic heritage of monuments of art, culture and traditions.
